Job summary

The Gorilla Glue Company is seeking a Formulation Scientist to develop innovative skin care products across multiple categories. You will run hands-on formulation, testing, documentation, and support scale-up to manufacturing, while aligning with marketing specs, costs, and regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Packaging Development, Process Development, QA, and Regulatory teams to ensure performance, stability, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience as an R&D formulator in personal care
• Strong knowledge of chemistries and formulation methods
• Ability to lead multiple projects and supervise others
• Develop test protocols and oversee analytical testing

Responsibilities

• Develop and test new skin care formulations across categories
• Collaborate with Marketing, Packaging, Process Development, Quality, Regulatory
• Manage project communications, milestones, risks, and next steps
• Mentor junior scientists/engineers/technicians as needed
• Stay current with industry developments and technologies
• Provide training and support to sales with demos and strategy meetings
