Job summary
Sunrider Manufacturing, L.P. is seeking a Formulation Scientist- Skin Care to blend routine and non-routine chemical agents, develop new products, and improve existing ones.
You will test products and monitor production batches to ensure conformance to development goals and quality standards. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline and at least 2 years of cosmetics formulation experience, with strong analytical, documentation, and computer skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline and 2+ years related cosmetics formulation experience.
- Knowledge of common compounding techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to read, interpret scientific literature and write reports.
Responsibilities
- Blend, mix, homogenize, and evaluate product stability.
- Develop manufacturing instructions and oversee pilot batches.
- Investigate raw materials and sourcing; develop testing specs.
- Validate new or improved processes and evaluate material uniformity.
- Maintain lab records per regulations and report results to management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and participate in vendor qualifications.
