Job summary

Channel Islands YMCA, located in Rancho Los Olivos, CA, seeks a Site Supervisor to plan, supervise, and implement before/after school, summer camp, and school break care programs in compliance with California licensing guidelines.

You will oversee up to 14 children independently and up to 20 with Expanded Learning Opportunities, provide safe, engaging activities, set up and clean program areas, and assist the Program Director with staff and enrollment management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old; high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience in a childcare setting.
• Complete required certifications within 60 days of hire.
• Maintain a valid California driver’s license and driving record.
• Criminal Record Clearance required.
• Meet California licensing requirements for care programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, supervising, and implementing before/after school, summer camp, and school break care programs per licensing guidelines.
• Supervise up to 14 children independently; up to 20 with Expanded Learning Opportunities guidelines.
• Supervise staff (Assistant/Associate Teacher) when applicable.
• Provide safe, engaging activities; promote HEPA standards for health.
