Job summary

M&M Construction Company, Inc. in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee commercial and public construction projects across North and Central New Jersey.

This hands-on role requires strong field leadership to manage subcontractors, schedules, safety, quality, and day-to-day operations. You will coordinate trades, monitor progress, ensure work meets plans, and participate in site meetings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience preferred.
• Experience with NJ public construction projects strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with public works requirements, inspections, documentation, and project procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to jobsites throughout North and Central NJ.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily field operations and jobsite activities.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades.
• Maintain project schedules and proactively address delays.
• Ensure work conforms to plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate inspections and participate in project/site meetings.
• Enforce jobsite safety requirements.
• Maintain daily reports and field documentation.
• Work closely with Project Managers, architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractors.
• Identify and resolve field issues to keep projects moving.
