Job summary

Apex Clean Energy is seeking a Site Manager to join our team and lead on-site construction activities for utility-scale wind, solar, and storage projects across the United States. You will work with our construction managers and be located on-site for the duration of each project (typically 12–18 months), traveling to different sites as needed.

The role requires strong leadership, safety focus, and cross-functional collaboration with contractors, OEMs, and engineers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of utility-scale wind or solar construction experience.
• Strong project management and multi-disciplinary coordination.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites, with monthly R&R trips.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day site activities during construction to meet schedule and safety standards.
• Represent Apex on-site as project owner liaison with contractors and stakeholders.
• Oversee field inspections across civil, mechanical, electrical scopes.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation and reporting cadence.
• Coordinate with contractors, OEMs, engineers, and authorities.
