Job summary

Construction is looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead a major multi-phased residential development in Sussex. You will own your phase, manage subcontractors and drive the programme, ensuring NHBC standards and high-quality finishes.

You will collaborate with a Project Manager and Contracts Manager to maintain schedule, promote health and safety, and deliver homes the business and homeowners can be proud of. PLC/volume builder background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Has worked on large, volume residential developments and understands the pace they demand.
• Has experience managing all stages of construction, from infrastructure and superstructure through to completion.
• Has a strong understanding of NHBC standards and quality-led construction.
• Is confident leading subcontractors, organising programmes and making decisions on site.
• Ideally has experience working with both traditional build and timber frame construction.

Responsibilities

• Managing your phase from the early construction stages through to completion.
• Leading subcontractors and driving programme on a busy, fast-paced development.
• Maintaining excellent build quality and ensuring NHBC standards are achieved throughout.
• Working closely with the Project Manager and Contracts Manager to keep the development on programme.
• Promoting a positive site culture with health, safety and quality at the forefront.
• Coordinating with Technical, Commercial and Customer Care teams throughout the build process.
• Delivering homes that both the business and homeowners can be proud of.
