Job summary

Mannik Smith Group in Tampa, FL is seeking a Project Manager / Site Civil Engineer to lead impactful projects and build communities. You'll manage site development projects, providing mentorship to junior staff while maintaining client relationships. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, extensive experience, and a PE license preferred. Qualifications

• Proven experience managing site development projects and client relationships.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a lead / senior civil engineer on a variety of site/civil project types.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.
• Serve as the primary client liaison, building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Prepare and review engineering plans, technical reports, calculations, and specifications.
• Ensure all designs meet local, state, and federal regulations.

Skills

Strong experience with site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater design

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D

Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

8+ years of experience in site/civil engineering

Tools

AutoCAD Civil 3D

Deltek Vision or Smartsheet
