Job summary

DensityAI, Inc. is seeking an experienced silicon validation engineer to own end-to-end validation of AI accelerators. You will run emulation, FPGA prototyping, and post-silicon bring-up, building environments and automation to prove silicon works at scale.

You will collaborate with architecture, RTL, firmware, software, and hardware teams to debug, characterize power/performance, and enable production ramp. This role requires strong C/C++/Python skills and hands-on lab experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in silicon validation, post-silicon bring-up, or a related field on complex SoCs or accelerators.
• Strong coding skills in C, C++, and Python, plus embedded/bare-metal programming experience.
• Hands-on experience with pre-silicon validation on emulation platforms and FPGA prototyping platforms.
• Proven silicon and system bring-up experience from first power-on through full post-silicon validation.
• Strong debug skills with waveform tools, JTAG debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Experience building test automation and triage infrastructure for large sample sets.

Responsibilities

• Create validation plans for AI accelerator silicon from pre-silicon to production.
• Build validation environments including firmware, applications, test content, and diagnostics.
• Develop scalable test automation for thousands of silicon samples and tests.
• Run pre-silicon validation on emulation and FPGA prototyping platforms.
• Lead silicon/system bring-up from first power-on to post-silicon validation.
• Debug and root-cause issues across emulation, silicon, and system hardware.
