Job summary

Malik Lighting & Signs Inc. is seeking a dependable Lead Sign Installer to lead installation and repair of customer electrical signs, lighting, and related equipment. You will photograph before/after results, capture measurements, and update Jobber, while identifying opportunities for additional work.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience, fluency in Spanish and English, and electrical knowledge. Independent contractor status and coordination with the office for quotes are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of installation and repair experience for Price Signs, lighting, and pole lighting with electrical knowledge.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish and English is required; Arabic is a plus.
• Proficient with Jobber, Jibble, and Expensify workflows.
• Independent contractor status.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and repair of a customer’s electrical sign, pricing boards, and outdoor lighting.
• Take before/after photos, measurements, and notes for Jobber and upload.
• Identify additional opportunities and document them in Jobber.
• Coordinate with the office to prepare quotes for immediate processing.
• Manage Jobber and Jibble check-ins/outs and upload photos.
• Complete the 6 Sigma Quality Checklist and obtain site manager approval.

Description

We are seeking a dependable, experienced Lead Sign Installer and Repairer.This is a great opportunity to utilize your experience and skills to support us in delivering exceptional customer service to our Malik Lighting & Signs Inc. customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Installation and Repair of a Customer’s electrical Sign, Pricing boards and letters, light fixtures, pole lights, cooler lights, and outdoor lights
  Some of the duties are:
• The Lead takes before and after photos, measurements, and notes and uploads them to Jobber
• The Lead looks for other opportunities for more business by looking around to see if there is any other work that can be brought to the Customer's attention
• The Lead adds these other opportunities in Jobber
• The Lead calls the office to see if a Quote can be prepared immediately
• The Lead is an Independent Contractor
• Checks In and Out on Jobber and Jibble
• Takes before and after photos and uploads to Jobber
• Completes 6 Sigma Quality Checklist
• Obtains the site Manager’s approval and payment
• Signs the Work Order to indicate it is completed
• Effectively work with other staff and technicians and be a valued team member.
• Resolves customers’ issues professionally, quickly, and clearly
