Job summary
Randstad USA is seeking a master-level Senior Maintenance Mechanic with 10+ years of direct experience in PET packaging to serve as the resident expert on Sidel SBO Series 1 lines in a fast-paced Atlanta-area plant.
You will perform high-level mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, mold changes, and precise tuning of blow molding equipment. Expect top-tier compensation, full benefits, and stability in a 1st shift role.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of direct mechanical maintenance experience in PET packaging or similar manufacturing.
- Demonstrated mastery of Sidel SBO Series 1 rotary blow molders; OEM field service background preferred.
- Strong ability to read schematics and perform legacy PLC diagnostics.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and repairs on Sidel SBO Series 1 equipment.
- Overhaul preform infeed, oven profiles, mold changes, and drive systems.
- Maintain high-pressure pneumatic systems (7–40 bar) and related valves.
- Support plant utilities including high-pressure air compressors and process chillers.
- Perform basic PLC diagnostics and interpret schematics to minimize downtime.
