S&S Activewear is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to support the Shipping manager and guide the shipping team in Lockport, IL. The role focuses on enforcing procedures, communicating goals, safety practices, and coaching staff on action plans.

You will monitor orders, receive, stock, stage, and ship goods, operate equipment, and maintain accurate audits. This is full-time with a 2:30pm-11pm shift and comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment.
• Can lift and carry up to 50 lbs on occasion.
• Flexible with start and departure time changing.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.

Responsabilités

• Work with leadership to implement process improvements and provide support throughout the DC.
• Efficiently monitor customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping of products ensuring they meet company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity.
• Operate required machinery with specified departments, including cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and stock chasers.
• Follow and meet KPIs for safety, quality, production, and efficiency.
• Report discrepancies, damaged items, shortages, or unidentified packages.
• Train in customer service duties as required and monitor/train new hires.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of Distribution Center; follow SOPs and safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned and be willing to cross train.
