Job summary

Concordance Healthcare Solutions LLC is hiring a full-time 2nd Shift Shipping Supervisor for our Chicago, IL distribution center. You will lead the Shipping Department, organize workloads, and drive on-time freight movement with a focus on safety and quality.

The role includes hands-on shipping assistance and collaboration with carriers like UPS and FedEx. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, 3+ years in warehouse operations, and experience supervising staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of three years of related experience; one year in warehouse operations preferred.
• Experience supervising, training, developing and providing direction to staff a plus.
• Knowledge of Voice Pick and VAI systems (or similar warehouse management or operating system) preferred.
• Must be able to lift/pull/carry at least 70 pounds; stand/walk for entire shift, often over 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of the Shipping Department in the Chicago location.
• Organize daily workload and direct staff to ensure on-time freight movement.
• Interviewing and hiring staff; provide training and develop employees; conduct performance reviews twice a year.
• Provide leadership in shipping operations including productivity, quality, safety and customer service.
• Prepare orders for shipment with external carriers (UPS, FedEx) and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
