Job summary

StratasCorp Technologies in Chesapeake, VA seeks a Senior Shipboard IT Technician to provide tier 2/3 infrastructure support for enterprise networks on Navy bases and ships.

This on-site position requires travel domestically and internationally, with no remote or hybrid options. You will install, upgrade, or troubleshoot IT networks and collaborate with shipboard personnel and vendors. A Secret clearance and SEC+ are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Secret clearance.
• SEC+ or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier 2/3 infrastructure support for enterprise networks.
• Respond to trouble calls using NESD ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, systems, or networks to restore operation.
• Lead or participate in shipboard IT installations and upgrades.
• Collaborate with shipboard personnel and other vendors to resolve issues.
• Prepare and submit daily work reports.
• Provide ad hoc data and network configuration/inventory reports.
• Cross-train in different shipboard IT systems.
