Cheba Hut Toasted Subs in Edmond, OK is seeking a Shift Leader 18+ to supervise crew, ensure food quality and safety, and coach the team for peak performance. You’ll report to the GM and work closely with the AGMs, driving a strong customer experience.

The role emphasizes leadership on the floor, maintaining the Big 4: atmosphere, cleanliness, interaction, and product quality, while meeting labor and service targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous shift lead, key holder, or restaurant leadership experience preferred.
• Shop-first, customer-first mindset, with integrity and self-direction.
• Strong communication skills, including the hard conversations.
• Ability to juggle priorities and stay calm under pressure.
• State-required food safety certification (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to lift 47 lbs, stand up to 10 hours, and work shifts up to 10 hours.
• Comfortable with a cannabis-themed culture.

Responsabilités

• Uphold the “Big 4”: atmosphere, cleanliness, interaction, and product quality. Be a thermostat, not a thermometer.
• Lead, motivate, and coach the crew through recognition and accountability, working shoulder to shoulder.
• Run a smooth shift: complete the Battle Plan, get “aces in their places,” and call audibles when it’s busy or short-staffed.
• Keep food safe and fresh: write prep and stock lists to PARs, complete line checks, follow F.I.F.O., and keep the waste log.
• Make sure orders are accurate and meet Cheba Hut ticket times.
• Hit SPMH and labor targets.
• Hold everyone to the same standard, with no favorites and no silent approval, and keep shop leadership in the loop.
