Job summary

Steak ’n Shake Morton is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations with energy, confidence, and accountability. This role will ensure strong openings and closings, coach team members, and deliver fast, friendly service that exceeds guest expectations.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory or restaurant management experience preferred.
• U.S. work authorization required.
• Strong leadership and guest-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations with energy and accountability.
• Open and close the restaurant effectively, ensuring team readiness.
• Coach and motivate team members to deliver fast, friendly service.
• Maintain brand standards for cleanliness, food safety, and quality.
• Handle cash drawer counts, deposits, and end-of-day reporting.
• Communicate clearly with guests and team members.
• Assist in training new hires and onboarding.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Step into any station as needed to maintain smooth operations.
