Job summary

RK Industries, a second‑generation family‑owned business, seeks a Sheet Metal/HVAC Foreman to lead on-site installation of ductwork and equipment across commercial and industrial projects. You will guide crews, oversee scheduling, ensure quality, and maintain strong safety practices.

You will work closely with project managers and field engineers to meet deadlines, coordinate with apprentices, and resolve field conflicts while upholding codes and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
• Journeyman or Master License required.
• Good physical condition and ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Good dexterity and eye‑hand coordination.
• Aptitude for technical problem-solving.
• Familiarity with building codes and current laws/regulations.
• Ability to maintain clean and orderly tools/work area.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Expert knowledge of trade tools, equipment, and materials.
• Keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe work environment for RK crews and all job site personnel. Assist Corporate Safety Managers as requested.
• Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work within the perimeters of trade specific project budget.
• Ensure quality craftsmanship on trade specific system installations.
• Plan specific trade installation approach and procedures.
• Coordinate CPMI for specific trade.
• Schedule daily and weekly trade activities.
• Trade related materials, tool, and equipment requisitions.
• Trade specific journeyman to apprentice ratio.
• Maintain positive and professional relationships with all customers, external and internal.
• Conflict resolution.
