Job summary

RK Industries in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Trade Foreman - Sheet Metal to lead installation of sheet metal, HVAC, ductwork, and related equipment on commercial projects.

You will coordinate crews, plan layouts, manage materials and tools, ensure code compliance, and mentor apprentices, supporting project managers and field engineers to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or Master-level Sheet Metal/HVAC experience in commercial, industrial, or mechanical construction environments.
• Ability to lead crews, coordinate layouts, manage materials and equipment, and troubleshoot installation challenges in the field.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork installation, building codes, jobsite sequencing, and quality control practices.
• Commitment to safety, craftsmanship, accountability, and developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation of sheet metal, HVAC, ductwork, ventilation systems, and related mechanical equipment on commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Coordinate daily crew activities, layouts, schedules, and material, tool, and equipment requisitions to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Perform quality control inspections, ensure code compliance, and resolve field installation and design challenges.
• Mentor installers and apprentices while partnering with project managers, field engineers, and other trades to drive safe and successful project execution.
