Job summary

The City of Savannah seeks a skilled technician to operate and maintain sewer televising and recording equipment, document daily inspections, and ensure NASCO coding for field videos.

You will coordinate crew work, lead safety training, and supervise tasks to meet quality standards while interacting with customers and other city departments. A valid Georgia driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or GED with 3 years in sanitary sewer, storm water, or wastewater handling.
• Exposure to videotaping production and field inspections.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean history required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Sewer Line Cleaning and Televising and prepare all televising equipment.
• Operate and maintain television and recording equipment; complete daily inspection reports.
• Ensure NASCO coding on videos and proper documentation of work orders.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment pre-trip; oversee safety PPE and field conditions.
• Lead crew assignments, monitor progress, train new staff, and provide guidance.
