Lead ServiceNow Developer - ITOM, CMDB and ITSM

Job Description

We currently have a career opportunity for a Lead ServiceNow Developer to join our intelligent automation team. This is a remote opportunity, must be located in the United States.

Job Overview:
As a Lead ServiceNow Developer you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of applications developed for our clients. You will work with solution architects and developers on interpretation/translation of wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements, and subsequently into technical design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and deliver.
• Serve as a technical lead and mentor. Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
• Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience levels.

Qualifications

• Passionate developers with several ServiceNow implementation experience in ITOM, CMDB and ITSM.
• Client facing or consulting experience highly preferred.
• Skilled problem solvers with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions.
• Flexible and adaptable attitude, disciplined to manage multiple responsibilities and adjust to varied environments.
• Future technology leaders - dynamic individuals energized by fast-paced personal and professional growth.
• Phenomenal communicators who can explain and present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike, including high-level decision makers.
• Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or comparable major.
• Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design.
• Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience configuring ITOM Discovery (on-premise & Cloud), Service mapping.
• Experience with Event management and integrating monitoring tools on ServiceNow platform.
• Experience & strong understanding of CMDB with very good understanding of CSDM.
• Experience integrating external systems to ServiceNow using REST & SOA.
• Proficiency using Glide API and JavaScript on the ServiceNow platform.
• ITSM implementation experience with knowledge of ITIL framework.
• Knowledge of Networking concepts and Cloud concepts.
• Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
• Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• CIS-ITOM Discovery
• CIS- Service Mapping
• CIS-Event Management

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $73,008 to $170,640. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
