Job summary

Mark-Taylor, Inc. is seeking a Lead Service Technician at San Milan in Phoenix, AZ.

You will help keep our communities running smoothly by handling maintenance repairs and contributing to the upkeep of the property, while providing the five-star service that makes Mark-Taylor communities feel like home. The role requires advanced knowledge in plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, and OSHA standards, plus EPA/HVAC/CPO certifications.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge in plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry.
• EPA, HVAC, CPO or similar certifications.
• 2+ years as an apartment maintenance/turn technician or related role.
• Basic written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing make-ready units to Mark-Taylor standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance issues.
• Perform daily pool care and ensure chemical balance and safety.
• Conduct minor roof repairs, re-key locks and key cutting.
• Inspect for safety hazards and coordinate with Facilities Manager.
• Share on-call duties and assist in inventory of parts and supplies.
• Train and mentor other Service Technicians and Facilities Technicians.
