Summary:

The Service Technician II performs maintenance, service, and repair of commercial cooking equipment and refrigeration units such as grills, fryers, ovens, ice machines, reach-in and walk-in coolers, freezers, etc.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen equipment and refrigeration systems.
• Communicate status updates regarding parts and repairs with support staff and customers.
• Complete service calls efficiently and accurately.
• Audit truck stock to ensure availability of required parts.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms according to safety standards.
• Meet on-call requirements as scheduled.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least three years of experience in commercial kitchen repair and refrigeration.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Successful background check and drug screening required.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work independently.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills; automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical knowledge a plus.
• Journeyman License and/or CFESA certification are advantageous but not required.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good driving record.
