Pay Rate: $28.00-35.00/hour*

Summary:

The Service Technician II provides maintenance, service, and repair for commercial cooking equipment and refrigeration, including grills, fryers, ovens, ice machines, reach-in and walk-in coolers, and freezers.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment and refrigeration.
• Communicating status updates for parts and repairs with support staff and customers.
• Completing service calls accurately and promptly.
• Auditing truck stock to ensure necessary parts are available.
• Maintaining service vehicle, tools, and uniforms according to safety standards.
• Meeting on-call requirements.

Required Education and Experience:

• At least three years of experience in commercial kitchen repair and/or refrigeration.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Successful background check and drug screening required.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work independently.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills; automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical background is a plus.
• Journeyman License and/or CFESA certification are a plus but not required.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good driving record.
