Summary:
The Service Technician II provides maintenance, service, and repair for commercial cooking equipment and refrigeration, including grills, fryers, ovens, ice machines, reach-in and walk-in coolers, freezers, etc.
Details:
- Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs commercial kitchen equipment and refrigeration.
- Communicates status updates for parts and repairs with branch support and customers.
- Completes service calls accurately and promptly.
- Audits truck stock to ensure required parts are available.
- Ensures service vehicle, tools, and uniforms meet Whaley safety standards.
- Meets on-call requirements.
Required Education & Experience:
- Three years of experience in commercial kitchen repair and/or refrigeration.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
- Valid Driver's license with a driving record that meets safety standards.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot accurately; automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical background is a plus.
- Journeyman License and/or CFESA certification are a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and soft skills.
- Good driving record.
