AVI Foodsystems, Inc. is seeking an energetic Lead Service Technician in Mansfield, OH.

This full-time role is scheduled Monday–Friday with on‑call availability, and involves hands-on installation, maintenance and repair of vending equipment at client locations. You will lead service visits, educate customers on equipment use, order parts, and nurture long-term client relationships while upholding safety standards.

Competenze

• Experience repairing automated vending and merchandising equipment preferred.
• Able to pass the DOT Physical.
• Must be 21+ to operate a company vehicle.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and customers.
• Valid driver's license (CDL not required).
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.

Mansioni

• Install new equipment at client locations within a designated area
• Educate the client on how to effectively use new equipment

• Remove outdated and unused equipment
• Test vending equipment to ensure proper function
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on vending and merchandising equipment
• Build and maintain client and customer relationships
• Order parts needed to complete repairs

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Previous experience in the repair of automated vending and merchandising equipment or small appliances preferred
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Technical ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and make appropriate repairs
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and customers
• Valid Driver's License (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment when needed
