Essex Meadows is seeking a Lead Server to join our upscale dining team in Essex, CT. The role supports guests with attentive service, explains the menu, and trains new staff while ensuring a polished, professional dining experience.

Qualifications

• Interpret and explain the menu and answer questions.
• Work closely with residents, guests, visitors, families, management and peers.
• Understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time, ready to perform to management standards.
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor per Food & Beverage policies.
• Communicate guest needs and menu details clearly to guests.
• Greet guests by name and follow Steps of Service throughout the meal.
• Be aware of shortages and inform manager when needed.
• Train new employees using Essex Meadows training materials.
