Job summary

Vi Living in Palo Alto is seeking a server trainer to onboard newly hired servers and lead daily tasks, including table assignments and bussing stations. The role may act as a food runner when needed and perform all server duties.

Ideal candidates will have prior restaurant or customer service experience and be comfortable presenting information to residents and staff, with knowledge of POS systems. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and Food Handlers certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant and/or customer service experience required.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group settings to residents and staff.
• Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; Food Handlers certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Train newly hired servers and lead servers in daily tasks (table assignments, bussing).
• Perform all server functions and act as food runner when assigned.
• Oversee staff as needed to ensure smooth service.
