Job summary

The Arbor Company is seeking a Lead Server in West Goshen Township, PA, to ensure residents receive attentive dining service and to maintain smooth restaurant operations.

You will recruit and train servers, supervise shifts, monitor food intake, and collaborate with the Executive Director to hire staff, schedule according to regulations, and uphold the community’s high service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in dining and serving in a community setting.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to supervise and train dining staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist Residents as needed in completing daily menus.
• Monitor Residents’ food intake.
• Interview prospective servers and make recommendations to Executive Director regarding hiring decisions.
• Train servers by example and orient them to Community operations.
• Schedule staff according to Community guidelines and state regulations.
• Provide coaching and supervision to serving staff, including termination if appropriate.
• Fill in as server when short-staffed in dining room.
