Job summary

Presbyterian Living’s Westminster Place in Evanston, IL is seeking a Lead Server for full-time dining operations. Shifts run 11:30am–8:00pm (7.5 hours), five days a week with rotating weekends. You’ll join a mission‑driven team delivering a personalized resident experience and upholding compassionate, collaborative care.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of serving/waitstaff experience
• Serve Safe Food handlers preferred, but not required.
• English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks before, during, and after dining room operations, including menu review and side jobs.
• Serve food and beverages in the proper sequence.
• Utilize a tablet for order taking with accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of meals offered and adhere to dietary modifications as needed.
• Keep tables neat and clean, promptly removing soiled dishes and resetting tables uniformly.
• Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors, addressing any complaints or unsafe conditions.
