Job summary

Presbyterian Living is seeking a Lead Server at Lake Forest Place in Lake Forest, IL. The role supports dining services with a focus on guest experience and accuracy using a tablet for orders. The schedule runs 11:30am–8:00pm, 7.5‑hour shifts, five days per week with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of serving/waitstaff experience.
• English language proficiency required.
• Serve Safe Food Handler certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks before, during, and after dining room operations, including menu review and side jobs.
• Serve food and beverages in the proper sequence.
• Utilize a tablet for order taking with accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of meals offered and adhere to dietary modifications as needed.
• Keep tables neat and clean, promptly removing soiled dishes and resetting tables uniformly.
• Work cooperatively with co‑workers and supervisors, addressing any complaints or unsafe conditions.
