Job summary

Presbyterian Living in Evanston, IL, is seeking a Lead Server for Westminster Place. This part-time role runs 4pm–8pm, five days a week, with weekends and holidays required. You’ll lead dining room service and leverage a tablet for ordering as you help deliver a warm, resident-focused experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of serving/waitstaff experience.
• Serve Safe Food handlers preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks before, during, and after dining room operations, including menu review and side jobs.
• Serve food and beverages in the proper sequence.
• Utilize a tablet for order taking with accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of meals offered and adhere to dietary modifications as needed.
• Keep tables neat and clean, promptly removing soiled dishes and resetting tables uniformly.
• Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors, addressing any complaints or unsafe conditions.
