Job summary

Presbyterian Living is seeking a Lead Server at Westminster Place in Evanston, IL. The role supports a mission-driven team in the Dining Department, with a schedule from 11:30am to 8:00pm and 7.5-hour shifts, five days a week, rotating weekends.

You will lead dining room operations, serve meals, and use tablets for ordering, while ensuring dietary needs are met and tables are well-presented. A community focused on wellness and independence awaits you.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of serving/waitstaff experience.
• Serve Safe Food handlers preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks before, during, and after dining room operations, including menu review and side jobs.
• Serve food and beverages in the proper sequence.
• Utilize a tablet for order taking with accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of meals offered and adhere to dietary modifications as needed.
• Keep tables neat and clean, promptly removing soiled dishes and resetting tables uniformly.
• Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors, addressing any complaints or unsafe conditions.
