Jewish Senior Life (JSL) in Michigan is seeking a Lead Server for our dining services team. The Lead Server assists in day-to-day operations, serves residents and guests with a friendly, service-oriented approach, and ensures beverages, soups, and busing meet meal needs and dietary requirements.

The Dining Room Lead Server is responsible for assisting in the day to day operations of the dining room in a senior living facility. They serve residents’ and guest meals in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Assures that beverages, soups and busing are completed according to proper procedures and resident meal needs are met based on requests and diet restrictions. The Lead Server along with their team, are responsible for working as the runner, the serving of plates (entrees and desserts) clearing of resident plates throughout the meal, monitoring for help needed in other areas, and the proper sanitation procedures followed in clean up.
