Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Test Engineering Manager 2 for the AVE-OBTE team in Roy, UT, supporting the Sentinel program. You will lead a small engineering team, oversee range certification efforts, and develop comprehensive test strategies that meet RCC-319/324 requirements while coordinating with System Test and Quality teams.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, strong leadership, and the ability to manage test planning, execution, and risk mitigation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. DoD Secret clearance required and maintained.
• Experience leading projects or cross-functional teams.
• Experience in system integration, test plans, and lab environments.
• Knowledge of RCC-319/324 and test verification processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to interface with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical mentorship to a team of engineers and manage test activities.
• Develop test plans, procedures, schedules, and verification plans.
• Coordinate testing with multiple teams and safety personnel.
• Oversee instrumentation requirements for hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Lead technical and safety reviews and test readiness activities.
