Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Sensor Validation Lead to drive validation across SDS products for automotive, trucking, and construction/mining. You will develop protocols, analyze sensor data, and ensure high-accuracy perception by aligning physical and simulated models.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering and 3+ years in sensor validation, with strong Python, Linux/Bash skills and experience with Lidar, Radar, and Cameras in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years in sensor validation or a closely related role; experience with Python data analysis and large sensor datasets.
• Experience with Cameras, Lidar, or Radar validation in diverse environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead sensor validation and characterization for SDS products across Automotive, Trucking, and Construction & Mining industries.
• Execute validation protocols for Lidar, Radar, Camera, and Ultrasonic sensors.
• Improve fidelity of synthetic simulations by developing ML and physical models of sensing systems and environments.
• Compare physical sensor data against simulated models for SDS stacks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to bridge physical data and synthetic models for high-accuracy perception.
