Oura is seeking a Hardware Signal Quality Test Engineer for our San Francisco team. You will help establish local validation for Oura Ring sensors, collaborate with hardware, firmware, science, and product quality teams, and contribute to hands‑on testing in our SF lab.

The role focuses on sensor data analysis, test planning, and developing repeatable validation workflows, with travel to Oura sites and contract manufacturers as needed. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years hands-on sensor testing and hardware validation experience.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and tooling.
• Basic signal analysis and electronics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to sensor validation cycles for next‑gen hardware products.
• Adapt test methods and tools to evaluate physical and physiological signals.
• Analyze sensor data and performance to derive actionable insights.
• Perform hands‑on lab testing and support root‑cause investigations.
• Deliver data‑driven reports to cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Improve test capabilities, automation, and documentation at SF site.
