Job summary

Ducommun Incorporated in Tulsa, OK seeks a Sr. Test Engineer to lead high-level test engineering initiatives and mentor junior engineers. The role focuses on guiding the Test Engineering function, defining guidelines, and ensuring robust testing processes across complex projects.

Responsibilities include design reviews, test equipment guidance, and adherence to team general requirements, with emphasis on standardizing best practices and safe hazardous waste handling within the work area.

Qualifications

Experience with ICT/FlyingProbe/Boundary scan technologies and programming, fixturing, troubleshooting and test parameter design.
Ability to present solutions to complex problems.
Ability to use multiple simulation and design packages.
Ability to specify design tools.
Proficiency in engineering concepts, physics, and chemistry principles.
Knowledge of basic manufacturing test processes.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
Proficient in technical writing and documentation; attention to detail is critical.
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
ISO environments experience is a plus.
Analytical skills for planning and prioritizing tasks.
Understanding of DOE, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts.
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and MS Project.
Strong customer communication and project image management.
Energetic with ability to multitask.
