Job summary

Expert Technology Services seeks a QA Engineer to prepare and execute manual and automated test cases derived from user stories. You will develop and maintain automated scripts (Cypress and Playwright) with traceability to requirements, review test strategies with stakeholders, and drive defect resolution across front-end, back-end, and blockchain-related components.

Responsibilities include tracking test milestones, supporting SDLC practices (SCRUM/Kanban), and ensuring robust API and UI test

Job Summary (List Format):

• Prepare, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases based on user stories.
• Develop, execute, and update automated test scripts, ensuring traceability from requirements to scripts.
• Review test cases and automation approaches with stakeholders for comprehensive coverage and feedback.
• Track test execution milestones, report on issues/risks affecting project timelines, and drive defect resolution.
• Construct end-to-end business scenarios aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with frontend, backend, and smart contract engineers to ensure product quality.
• Plan and prioritize testing activities, maintaining and improving existing automation frameworks.
• Develop and maintain automation tests for APIs and UIs using Cypress and Playwright.
• Review and analyze test execution results, maintain related documentation, and prepare test data.
• Proactively obtain, clarify, and review requirements as needed.
• Apply strong knowledge of blockchain technology, OOP, web-based application structures, and databases (SQL).
• Utilize expertise in API and UI testing, automation frameworks, and CI tools (Azure DevOps).
• Demonstrate understanding of test design techniques, SDLC (SCRUM, Kanban), and problem-solving skills.
