The ideal candidate will manage all phases of litigation, mentor junior attorneys, maintain strong client relationships, and stay current with Arizona probate code and civil procedure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of litigation experience with probate/trust focus preferred.
• Demonstrated courtroom experience including hearings and trials.
• Strong knowledge of Arizona probate code, trust law, and civil procedure.
• Experience handling business litigation is highly valued.
• Ability to manage complex matters from inception to resolution independently.
• Excellent legal writing, advocacy, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead probate and trust litigation matters, including contests and fiduciary disputes.
• Manage all phases of litigation from strategy to trial.
• Appear as lead counsel in Arizona probate and superior courts.
• Assess risk and advise clients on settlements and trial strategy.
• Collaborate with transactional and estate planning attorneys on disputes.
• Mentor junior attorneys and staff on litigation best practices.
