Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification or equivalent.
• Preferred: Prior institutional/healthcare food service experience.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and prepares food that meets residents' nutritional needs.
• Cooks palatable, attractive, nutritionally adequate meals in required quantities.
• Leads kitchen staff with food preparation, trays, cleaning, and storage.
• Maintains a clean food service work area during service.
• Handles and stores food supplies per procedures and regulations.
