Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. seeks a Lead/Senior Java Developer for an onsite Fort Worth, TX contract role (06-12+ months). The position requires strong Java development, Spring Boot, cloud-native design, and leadership skills.

Expect hands-on work with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and REST/microservices architecture. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of experience, proficiency with OAuth2/JWT/Spring Security, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Java application development.
• Strong expertise in Java 17/21 and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Hands-on experience with Python and Streamlit.
• Experience building cloud-native applications.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Expertise in developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Strong understanding of OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security.
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Proficiency with Git and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, etc.).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
