Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is actively seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to architect and build scalable services across Node.js, Java, Python, and AWS for MarTech data pipelines in a Dallas onsite environment.

You will collaborate withProduct Managers, Architects, DevOps, QA, and Data Engineering to deliver secure integrations and high-performance microservices while focusing on observability and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, Python, or Go.
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party API integrations.
• Experience with AWS and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
• Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka/AWS Kinesis.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services and REST APIs.
• Build secure integrations with third-party vendor platforms and enterprise systems.
• Develop batch and real-time data pipelines.
• Design event-driven applications using modern messaging technologies.
• Build cloud-native microservices deployed in AWS.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and observability.
• Troubleshoot distributed cloud applications.
• Collaborate with Product, Architects, DevOps, QA, and Data Engineering teams.

Immediate need for a talented Senior Backend Software Engineer – Node.js | Java | Python | AWS | APIs | Data Pipelines | MarTech . This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Dallas, TX (Onsite).

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable backend services and REST APIs.
• Build secure integrations with third-party vendor platforms and enterprise systems.
• Develop batch and real-time data pipelines.
• Design event-driven applications using modern messaging technologies
• Build cloud-native microservices deployed in AWS.
• Develop secure authentication and authorization using OAuth and IAM.
• Build high-performance services handling large-scale customer and marketing data.
• Partner with Product Managers, Architects, DevOps, QA, and Data Engineering teams.
• Improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and observability.
• Troubleshoot complex distributed cloud applications.
• Contribute to software architecture, engineering best practices, and technical design.
