Job summary

Compass Group USA's Flik Independent School Dining at The Frederick Gunn School in Washington, CT is hiring a Senior Cook for a full-time, on-site role. Schedule may include weekends and evenings; you will prepare diverse entrees, follow established recipes, operate and clean equipment, and help maintain daily production records.

Candidates should have prior high-volume cooking experience and a commitment to HACCP and food-safety standards.

Qualifications

• High-volume cooking experience required.
• Must be able to work weekends and evenings.
• Full-time schedule and on-site availability.
• Adherence to HACCP and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cooking activities as assigned by the Food Service Director.
• Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operate and clean equipment after use and perform routine cleaning.
• Store, label and date food items; maintain organized storage.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and comply with health regulations.
• Assist in maintaining daily production records and documentation.
• Assist in cross-training of employees.
