Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. in Warwick, RI seeks an Engineering & Technology Manager to lead the site's engineering organization, improve manufacturing performance, and drive new technologies.

You will coordinate with Operations, Quality, Product Marketing, and Sales to deliver innovative solutions and strengthen competitiveness. The role combines engineering leadership with business leadership, focusing on manufacturing capability improvements, new product introductions, and technology

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Semiconductor, thin film, microelectronics, precision manufacturing, or related experience preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience preferred.
• Knowledge of statistical process control and quality systems preferred.
• Experience with automation and advanced manufacturing technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team.
• Support manufacturing through process improvement, problem solving, and technical leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, yield, and cost reduction.
• Lead new product introductions and manufacturing technology improvements.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Product Marketing, and Sales to support customers and win new business.
• Evaluate manufacturing equipment, capital investments, and automation opportunities.
• Lead engineering projects from concept through successful implementation.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
