Summit Seed Coatings is hiring a Production Line Lead to oversee the daily coating operations at our Caldwell facility. You will manage the line, operate coating equipment, and ensure product quality with strong attention to traceability and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certifications in manufacturing, equipment operation, or agriculture are a plus.
• Experience in production or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Seed-coating or agricultural experience is preferred.
• Ability to lead or coordinate teams in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production line activities for efficient, accurate, and timely completion.
• Operate and monitor seed-coating equipment to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain seed traceability and documentation throughout production.
• Train and mentor staff on processes, equipment, and safety.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance as needed.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and promote a culture of safety.
• Monitor production metrics and identify efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with management, maintenance, quality, and logistics to resolve issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized production environment aligned with sustainability values.
