Mobile Communications America, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking an Advanced Security Technician to install and service CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems on enterprise-grade projects.

The role includes mentoring teammates and coordinating with trades to ensure quality results for customers. The candidate will stay current with emerging security technologies and be able to work on projects of varying size, with opportunities for lead responsibilities and occasional shifts beyond standard

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience with installation and service of enterprise-level physical security systems.
• Proficiency in device installation, headend equipment, cabling and network connectivity.
• Basic understanding of networking and programming.
• Ability to oversee and train others on device installation.
• Demonstrated ability to use test equipment to verify installation.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic issues across enterprise systems.
• Ability to obtain appropriate licensure.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Installing and servicing physical security systems/platforms, including CCTV, access control systems, intrusion detection, communications, and many other low-voltage sysems.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting systems issues.
• Training/mentoring others within the team.
• Working as a valued team member on project/installations to deliver quality results to our customers.
• Maintaining awareness of new and emerging technologies and their potential application on clients engagments.
• Working with trades and subcontractors assigned to projects.
• Serving as a lead tech on smaller projects/installations.
