Job summary

Security 101 – Columbus is seeking a Lead Commercial Security Technician with hands-on experience installing and programming CCTV, IP cameras, access control, and intrusion systems for commercial sites.

You will lead project installations, supervise a small team, ensure quality, and deliver excellent customer service. Must have 3+ years in installation and servicing and a valid driver’s license; Genetec/Lenel training is a plus.

Qualifications

3+ years installing, servicing and programming access control, IP video systems and intrusion alarms.
3+ years as a project lead responsible for complete project supervision.
Process oriented with strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to support customer systems via remote diagnostics.
Knowledge of networking and IT concepts is essential.
Able to work independently and resolve issues to customer satisfaction.
Valid driver's license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

Install, terminate, configure, and test enterprise security systems with minimal supervision.
Lead a team on project installations.
Manage quality control and provide excellent customer service.
Take responsibility for and track project progress.
