Job summary

Pavion is seeking a talented Lead Technician to join our security unit. You will lead and mentor a team of installers across multiple sites, plan daily activities, and oversee installation, configuration, and testing of access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of field experience, a valid driver's license, and proven leadership. Certifications (Lenel, AMAG, Genetec, Axis) and OSHA knowledge are valued. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in security system installation (CCTV, access control, intrusion)
Valid driver license and clean driving record
Proven experience leading field technicians or installation teams
Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems and wiring standards
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
OSHA safety knowledge and compliance

Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and support a team of security installers across multiple job sites
Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily installation activities to keep projects on schedule and within scope
Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion)
Ensure all work meets Pavion quality standards and customer expectations
Serve as the primary field contact for technicians, project managers, and customers
Train and mentor junior technicians to improve team skills
Conduct site walks, verify materials, and ensure proper system design execution
Maintain accurate job progress and completion reports
Identify and resolve field issues to minimize delays and rework
