Job summary

Cisco is seeking a senior security engineer to lead engagements with large enterprise customers. You will deliver Cisco security solutions, design and automate deployments, and provide ongoing support to maximize value from the implemented systems.

The role requires deep firewall, VPN, SASE, and ISE/TrustSec expertise, plus strong communication with technical staff and executives. You will work across the security practice and partner teams to deliver best-in-class outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in cybersecurity, IT consulting and systems integration for large enterprises.
• Deep technical expertise in Cisco Secure Firewall/ASA and enterprise deployments in cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Experience with VPN technologies, Cisco AnyConnect and Secure Client products.
• Experience with Cisco Umbrella, Secure Access and other SASE solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco ISE and TrustSec; hands-on preferred.
• Understanding of Cloud Security, Network Visibility, and Zero Trust Segmentation.
• Ability to deliver automation artifacts using common frameworks and Cisco APIs.
• Experience designing, implementing, and operating network security solutions.
• Strong communication skills with technical staff and executives.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent and CCNP Security certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead security engagements at Cisco customers and report on security services.
• Deliver security solutions independently and with a multi-discipline team.
• Design, document, validate, pilot, deploy and automate Cisco security solutions.
• Provide ongoing support to maximize value of deployed solutions.
• Troubleshoot and root-cause security issues and recover customer environments.
• Collaborate across Cisco security practice and other groups.
• Develop standards, templates, methodologies, and delivery frameworks.
• Support opportunity development and proposals with account teams.
