Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Security Operations Engineer I to independently lead investigations and response to complex security events. You will mentor analysts, contribute to detections and automation, and improve SOC tooling and processes.

Based in the United States, the role covers Linux, macOS, cloud, and Kubernetes environments, with 24/7/365 SOC coverage and on-call requirements. A strong foundation in security tooling and threat handling is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in security operations, IR, forensics, or related field.
• Experience investigating Linux/macOS, cloud, and Kubernetes environments.
• Proficiency with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations and response to complex security events.
• Serve as escalation point for analysts and mentor juniors.
• Develop detections, automation, and runbooks.
• Coordinate containment and remediation with cross-functional teams.
• Perform post-incident reviews and recommend improvements.
• Partner with threat intel and detection engineering teams.
