Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Security Operations Engineer I to independently lead investigations and response to complex security events. You will serve as an escalation point for analysts and help improve detections, automation, and SOC tooling.

You will participate in a 24/7/365 SOC, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate containment with cross-functional teams while using SIEM, EDR, and other security tools to drive actionable findings.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, or related fields.
• Experience investigating security events with limited information.
• Degree in CS/Engineering/Cyber Security or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations and response to complex security events 24/7/365.
• Develop detections, automation, runbooks, and response workflows.
• Mentor junior engineers and review their work.
• Coordinate containment with security, engineering, and operations teams.
